The old Owl is lover of nature and animals, especially the restoration of threatened species.  Wood Bison were once thought to be extinct.  They are now making a big comeback in Alaska.  Hopefully the Wood Bison population will sufficient grow to release in the large heavily forested national parks in the western lower 48.

This is the Plains Bison. 

The Plains Bison are now travelling in herds unseen for more than 100 years.  This migration is increasing the nutrient value of plants by up to 150%.  The regenerative value to the land also eliminates aggressive predatory grasses and improves the growth of healthy natural grasses.  The bison hooves till the land allowing rain to penetrate several feet deeper and enrich the soil, a special value in lesser  hydrated areas.  Bison wallowing and roiling in the mud create an entire new habitat for many smaller animals.  The Bison comeback is a bright spot of good news in a bad news culture.

BREAKING NEWS: 100,000 MUSLIM MEN INVADE SPAIN SCREAMING ALLAH AKBAR

More details to come. Some 100,000 Muslim men have invaded Spain. Every video shows only young men of military age. Spanish citizens are now fortifying their homes with barbed wire as the invaders are breaking into stores and homes.

The European far left press is claiming that women and children are involved, with videos that show nothing but young men streaming across the short water barrier between Spain and Morocco. Reminiscent of the CNN video claiming the BLM riots were peaceful with burning buildings in the backdrop.  The invaders are also arriving by trucks and the Spanish police are doing nothing to stop this invasion. Obviously this invasion was coordinated and is now coming from multiple directions. The first casualty reports are 44 Spanish citizens killed thus far.

Tousi TV is the best source of English language. This is the Social Democrats European version. The same mentality that has resisted the controlled borders and deportation of illegal aliens from the United States.

The Gazan population will again have an opportunity to form a peaceful little country that can experience the prosperity peace can bring.

Like the Abraham Accords, the Board of Peace places the future of the Middle East in Middle Eastern hands. President Trump has profoundly changed the world for the better while focusing American energies on American reindustrialization, prosperity and hemispheric unity.

DOES THE WNBA HAVE A FUTURE?

The WNBA is just a clown car.  How does their management and leadership get up in the morning?  Just as the terrible double standard Caitlin Clark started to quiet down the WNBA has seen the following:

A series of viral videos of WNBA players getting smashed and stupid drunk at an all star party.  Paige Buekers started taking off her clothes at a party.  Is the way to encourage parent's to take little girls to WNBA games?

Then, the WNBA All Star game became a clown show in which only Caitlin Clark and Jonquel Jones displayed any effort.  The players just walked around, throwing up threes, making stupid passes, and falling under almost universal criticism.

Then the Dijoani Carrington and Nylassa Smith ex-lovers spat hit the internet of all things.  This whole episode was so bitchy and jealous it was another black eye for a league of bad examples.

Next the Seattle Storm owner launched a profanity laced verbal diatribe at two teenage girls  for the girl's  support of Sophie Cunningham's stance against tranny men playing in women's sports.  The two girls were also subjected to foul names from the crowd, what the WOKE would call hate speech if it wasn't directed at two white girls.  Weill there be an investigation like in Chelsea Gray's situation.

Then, to top off the management idiocy the WNBA posted a video of Angel Reece and Paige Buekers betting money on last night's Dream v. Wings game. After realizing it just told the world that two of the brightest stars were gambling on a game in which both were playing. ... the brain dead Angel Reece defiantly admitted gambling at the presser and on her X account.  Needless to say the post game presser and Angel's social media.  Notwithstanding the express language of the WNBA CBA prohibiting gambling the WNBA said it will take no action against either player.

Iowa Hawkeyes Starting QB Game 1?

Hawkeye Football season is around the corner.  The Hawkeye starting QB is the biggest question Iowa has going into the season.

The Owl thinks Jeremy Hecklinski will start.  More mobility and greater big play potential.  Hank Brown was not impressive on the field, although Hank had seen more snaps in his career at Auburn and Iowa.

The Old Owl said that Fauci and Birx were lying about the origins and extent of Covid back in 2020. Now Fauci's diary has been released. There isn't time to list the lies but three stand out. First, Fauci lied about the gain of function origin. Second, he lied about where the gain of function origin started; not in a "wet market" but in a Chinese lab in which Fauci was working with the Chinese to advance "gain of function" pathogens. The diaries show a third perversion of mentality, the lies about the extent and risk of Covid to discredit President Trump ahead of the 2020. Fauci's diaries prove that Fauci had no scientific basis for the lock downs and lied about the recommending lock downs. Fauci had no basis for social distancing and lied about that recommendation. Fauci had no scientific basis for stating the extent and risk of the Covid virus itself. None of the foregoing require complex analysis, the fool wrote he was the face of Covid. Today, the former media star, the self described most important man in America had nothing to say. Fauci invoked the 5th Amendment privilege 111 times before the Senate, including the day of the week, the color of his tie and the color of the carpet.  That sounds like mobsters testifying about organized crime, not the self described great medical scientist directing the primary response to a global pandemic.

Who was harmed by these lies? Every single American citizen. Everyone locked down. Every child who missed one or two years of school. Then, every taxpayer that paid the taxes to pay for financial relief for the business destroyed by the unscientific lock downs. Every person that lost their job.  The United States has still not recovered from the staggering damage to the American supply chain.  Fauci makes Nazi Dr. Mengele look like Dr. Suess.

What did the Democrat/Communists do upon hearing Fauci's repetition of the 5th Amendment in lieu of answers? They grandstanded, they broke the rules of the hearing, they lied, and lied and lied. Everyone that said President Trump was a racist for blaming a Chinese gain of function lab, lied. Every Dem/Com that created or enforced a lockdown lied.  Fauci's lies and pushing an unscientific approach to a national crises killed thousands and destroyed the lives of millions; and this monster will face no consequences whatsoever because the autopen pardoned Fauci going all the way back to 2014.

MONICA McNUTT IS A ... NUT!

ESPN continues to employ Monica McNutt. Why? The parent is ABC and ABC's parent is Disney. So, WOKE insanity is the operating principle for all three corporations.

Monica McNutt recently said Caitlin Clark needs to take more accountability. Meriam Webster's defines accountability is defined as

an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions. Monica, what are the personal actions for which Caitlin Clark needs to accept responsibility? Did Monica really just rely on the WOKE happy talk because the constant race baiting is not going down the way to which the race baiters and grievance hustlers have grown accustomed?

The change has been coming. The insane Nancy Armour compared Caitlin's complaints to officials to the Emmett Till lynching, Armor's brain actually thought that punishing Alyssa Thomas for violently attacking Clark would lead to blacks. Armour invoked a lynching from seventy years ago as the causal connection between Caitlin's complaints about the level of violence directed at her on the court to lynching in the Democrat Jim Crow south. Armour repeats Thomas' completely unevidenced "victim" posing. Thomas claimed she received death threats on social media. Thomas went so far as to claim her children received death threats. Thomas has never shown the threatening messages. Armour abandons simple critical thought; obviously any rational person that received actual death threats would and should take those threats to law enforcement, especially if that person's children are threatened. The same is true of Thomas' teammate DeWanna Bonner. Think of the perverse mentality of the brain that arrived at Armour's conclusion? Armour reprehensively castigates Caitlin Clark and trivialize Emmett Till.

The lack of proof is a consistent theme of the race baiters and grievance hustlers. The race baiters and grievance hustlers know that evidence will allow their claims to be investigated and likely disproven. Chelsea Gray published the nasty, nasty abusive post she received on July 12 of this year. Chelsea released the post on July 13, The internet abuser was identified in less that twenty four hours and was fired on July 14. The race baiters and grievance hustlers know that modern technology will impeach their claims. Many black WNBAers have claimed to hear racist attacks from Indiana Fever fans. If those attacks were made they would be heard by someone other than the race baiter or grievance hustlers. No witnesses have ever corroborated the race baiters and grievance hustlers fables about Indiana fans. The persons making such racist comments could be easily identified through ticket information or facial recognition technology, if not simply recorded in a place where thousands of cell phones are already making AV recordings.

Which brings us back to McNutt's demand that Caitlin Clark take responsibility for some unstated misdeed. McNutt's statement is being ridiculed and derided by a large part of the WNBA commentariat, many of whom are black themselves. Ben Daniels, Mick Talks Hoops, Venom, ATK, Fly Hippie, Dan Dakich at Outkick, and Black & White Sports and many more throughout the sporting community.

Massie & Epstein: Give It Up Loser

 The Lame Duck Thomas Massie, a dirt bag in his own personal life, just cannot give up the Epstein obsession.  Victim names are not going to be made public.  Massie's claims about giving the victims name is hollow.  There is no information that actual victims have not been provided with information they need to obtain whatever can be gained from information about a dead man whose assets have been seized and forfeited.

Nor will salacious details be provided about any persons uninvolved in any criminal misconduct.  Rich men have been having sex with younger beautiful women since the beginning of history.  It may not be morally right but it is also nobody else's business.

Joining with Ro Khanna, whose crocodile tears are as hypocritical as the snake Massie.  Khanna had no problem supporting Graham Platner in the Maine primary who was also accused of sexual abuse by multiple women.  Khanna was also supportive of Platner after learning Platner was an actual Nazi and wore an SS tattoo over Platner's heart.

Massie is an attention whore that lacks any principle.  Time to give it up and go away loser.

IRAG, SYRIA & THE UNITED STATES -- ARE PIGS FLYING?

Who would have ever thought that Iraq, Syria and the United States would coordinate an alliance to bypass the Persian Gulf and build a direct pipeline directly to the Mediterranean in the world before Trump.  

Obama and Hillary gave Iraq to Iran.  Iraq has been an Iranian slave state since Obama sold out Iraq.  Syria was an Iranian client state, a major sponsor of terror and instability.  Trump took out ISIS in weeks, where Obama had failed for years.  Trump 2.0 stood back and let the Syrians choose their own leadership and the Syrians supported a strange cat that has turned out to be quite the reformer.

Now, the Iraqis and the Syrians have joined with the US to build a pipeline that will allow Iraqi oil to circumvent the Persian Gulf altogether.  Both countries have rejected Hezbollah's pleas for sanctuary.  Trump diplomacy triumphs again.

GETTING TO KNOW ROB SAND A LITTLE BETTER

We all know two facts:  Democrats control every level of American education and Democrats have destroyed education in the United States.  

Rob Sand routinely attacks private schools or the use of "taxpayer money" to fund the student and not the school.  Sand's attacks conceal the use of taxpayer money to support his and other Democrats' campaigns.

Iowa spends about $11.5 billion on K-12 education. The Iowa State Education Association's members receive most of that money.  The ISEA is the Iowa strain of teacher's labor organization.   

The ISEA then sends hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats or Democrat party PACs every year.  Sand seems to have no problem with taxpayer money supporting his campaign but does have a problem with better education for Iowa students.  The conflicted relationship between Sand/Democrats and the IESA might explain the "Auditors" failure to audit the Des Moines Public School District after it spent hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on Ian Roberts, an illegal alien that committed around a dozen felonies and was a former member of a death squad in his home country.  The DMPSD has made no attempt to claw back any of that money from the head hunting firm that recommended Roberts to the DMPSD.

GET TO KNOW ROB SAND

 Rob Sand is very good at attacking "billionaires" and claiming Zach Lahn is responsible for rising cancer rates (a facially preposterous claim).  Rob Sand never really talks about himself.  While raving against the rich who harm society Sand fails to mention he , or at least his wife, is arguably the single richest person in Iowa.

Sand's wife is part of the family that controls The Lauridsen Group, a multi billion dollar Des Moines Agribusiness.  This billionaire family sells agricultural chemicals.  Sand's wife is  the CEO of this enormous corporation.

Are Sand's in-laws and wife reducing the cost of the sales of agrichemicals as part of his war on the rich?  Following Sand's communist rhetoric Sand should be talking about the cost of his wife's fortune maintaining the high cost of agriculture, especially cattle given the depletion of cattle herds across the nation.

Sand takes money from other billionaires, for example Epstein crony Reid Hoffman.  Hoffman went so far as to work on Epstein's reputational rehabilitation.  Hoffman raised money for Epstein.  Now he's raising money for Rob Sand.

Another omission from Sand's hateful campaign rhetoric is his strong support of the LGBTQ+ agenda.  This agenda includes gender reassignment surgery and treatment for minors without parental notification.  Sand's position violates the United States Code and U.S. Supreme Court decisions.

Based on his commercials we really only know that Rob Sand loves pizza and hates billionaires rigging the system (for example his in-laws financing Feenstra and Sand).  Maybe Iowa needs to know Rob Sand a little better.  

WNBA IS BRAIN DEAD

The WNBA leadership are the most tone deaf and brain dead people in the history of sports ownership and management.

Having just spent weeks of pressure and a likely EEOC investigation over the WNBA's discrimination against white, heterosexual players the WNBA sent Paige Buekers out to national TV to talk about the need for more black women head coaches.  Buekers began her WOKE worship service by claiming black women built the WNBA.  Not entirely true since the WNBA started with 46% white women.   Moreover, to be brutally honest the willingness of NBA owners to subsidize the Welfare National Basketball association for the league's first 28 seasons, and those owners are almost entirely white, really built the WNBA.  Finally, the league was a boring, virtually unknown niche sport that wasn't really built by anyone before Caitlin Clark, a white heterosexual woman, that transformed the WNBA's profile and popularity.

Even if Buekers had a point, her point was a call for more racial discrimination; hiring black women coaches because they are black women regardless of qualification is the very definition of racial and gender discrimination.  The Owl doesn't have much love for Chief Justice Roberts but he best framed the issue.  "Perhaps the best way to end racial discrimination is to stop discriminating on the basis of race."

Racial discrimination in coaching does not appear to be a problem in the WNBA.  Recently, Teresa Weatherspoon was the Chicago HC, produced a .325 record, had a locker room so out of control Chennedy Carter and Angel Reece could be heard screaming at each other from the locker room during a press conference not being held in the locker room.  Noelle Quinn was fired at Seattle after first describing herself as a gangster straight out of Compton and then a player revolt that demanded Quinn's termination.  It is much easier to fire the coach than fire the team in professional sports and no one really wants a gangster as the face of a professional sports franchise.  

Twenty four black women have served as head coaches in the WNBA history, in only 30 seasons.  The WNBA has always been a small league so there haven't been may head coaching jobs.  The WNBA started with only 8 teams, moved to 10 in its second season, 12 in 1999, 16 from 2000-2002, back to 14 in 2003, 13 in 2004-2005, 14 in 2006, back to 13 in 2007, back to 14 in 2008, 13 in 2009, 12 from 2010-2024, 13 in 2005 and 15 this season.  To put that in perspective, there have been more teams and more HC opportunities in  the National Lacrosse League.  There just aren't many HC openings in any given WNBA season and a lot of .

Buekers and the WNBA race baiting and grievance hustling was poorly timed and did not go down so well with the black basketball commentariat.  Check out Ben Daniels and KTV podcasts from earlier today.   These people are too stupid to simply get out of their own way.

HISTORIC DAY IN MIDDLE EAST-MULLAH'S CHICKENS ARE COMING HOME TO ROOST!

What a day in the Middle East.  It would be an understatement to call today historic.  The most important and optimistic events of today trail only the fall of the Berlin Wall in historical significance in the last 70 years.

After 47 years the Middle East has finally had enough of the Iranian threats, proxies, terror and oil blackmail.

IRGC leadership figures have fled to Yemen.  The Saudis launched their own attack on Yemeni airports that were attempting to land the Iranian Airbus, forcing the IRGC to weave and dodge.  The IRGC finally used a minor airport.  The Yemenis have joined the coalition and say they will respond to the Iranian invasion.  The Saudis are now kinetic.  Let's hope the Saudis finish off the Houthis once and for all.  Since Iran can no longer resupply the Houthis the Houthis cannot maintain resistance for long.

The Iranian Immortal Guard (think "The 300") are now hitting leadership figures in Iran.  Assassinations of IRGC and Basiq figures are now reported from all parts of Iran.

Bigger news.  The UAE and Oman are building a new pipeline that will cut across the Musandam Peninsula and completely circumvent the Straights of Hormuz.  The source of oil black mail just took a death blow.

Bigger news.  The US, Syria, that's right Syria, and Iraq, an Iranian captive country since Obama abandoned Iraq and gave it to the Iranians and the IRGC, have joined economic forces to build a new pipeline west from Iraq, through Syria and the Mediterranean coast.  The economic alliance provides a clear indication that the new Syrian leadership wants to integrate into the regional economy.  The Syrians have already refused to provide safe haven for Hezbollah in the terror organization's attempts to escape the Israelis.  

Even bigger news.  Massive explosions have been reported all over northern Iran.  The US and Israel claim to not know where the explosions are coming from.  The Iraqi Kurds have invaded northern Iran and are engaged in heavy fighting with the IRGC.

Biggest news.  President Trump has transitioned from deal making to destruction of the Iranian Terror Regime.   Today Trump told the Iranians to get ready, we're coming and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.  The words from Trump to the Iranian people has been.  The US is bombing RR track and bridges, and more significantly Iranian ports.  The blockade is back on and the US escort service is again in effect for anyone that transits the Straights of Hormuz.  The IRCG was firing hundreds of missiles when the war started up, now the IRGC can only fire a few missiles a day and virtually none ever hit anything.  The Jordanians took at the four missiles either targeted at Jordan or Israel.

Political and commercial reintegration of the Middle East began with the Abraham Accords appears to be near at hand. Today was a big day in history.

IOWA TAKES ANOTHER STEP TOWARD VALUING PETS

The Iowa Legislature enacted a new provision regarding mistreatment of service animals.  HF 2348 is now a new part of Chapter 717B, codified as Iowa Code § 717B (1), (2) and (4) as it relates to injuries to to companion animals.  This is a major legal development that places recognizes the emotional value of pets, and service dogs are also pets not just employees. 

Unfortunately, Iowa law still enforces the rule that only the economic value of a murdered pet is compensable at law.  The legal authority that prohibits emotional distress or loss of consortium damages is Nichols v. Sukaro Kennels, 555 N.W.2d 689 (Iowa 1996), for those who want to read this case for themselves.  The holding in that case was plaintiffs cannot recover emotional distress damages for the death of a pet unless they witnessed the event.  The Court also found that Iowa's statutes allow recovery for injury or damage to trees, treble actual damages, for damages to trees but no statute allows a similar recovery for injuries or the death of pets.

The Nichols Court relied on earlier Iowa precedential cases from 1964, 1940 and the following language from a 1964 edition of Am Jur, a legal encyclopedia.  

The measure of damages for injury to, or destruction of, an animal is the amount which will compensate the owner for the loss and thus return the owner, monetarily, to the status he or she was in before the loss." 4 Am.Jur.2d Animals § 162, at 504 (1964) ... In determining the measure of damages for injuries to a dog, factors include its market value, which may be based on purchase price, relatively long life of breed, its training, usefulness and desirable traits." 4 Am.Jur.2d Animals § 165 at 509.Nichols at 691-692. So plaintiffs cannot recover any emotional distress or loss of consortium damages even if the family witnesses the injury or death.

A recent decision noted the dramatic change in public opinion regarding pets. The facts of the case were tragic.

Tragically, Bolt had been killed, so West left the scene to take his pet to a veterinarian for end-of-life needs. After arriving home from the veterinarian, West sought medical attention for his own injuries. West testified that he had pain in his chest along with scrapes on his arms, hands, and feet. West also testified he had damage to several teeth. After the accident, West began meeting with a therapist to address his anxiety and depression.

West v. Stafford, No. 25-006 (12/17/2025). Judge Tyler Buller specially concurred and noted the disconnection between social views of pets:

Under existing Iowa supreme court precedent, pets are treated as personal property—the same as a toaster, a toothbrush, or a trashcan. E.g., Nichols ... I think most pet owners would bristle at that notion. Almost two thirds of Americans own a pet, and 97% of pet owners consider pets part of their family. See Anna Brown, About Half of U.S. Pet Owners Say Their Pets Are as Much a Part of Their Family as a Human Member, Pew Research Center (July 7, 2023), https://perma.cc/9FVU-SE9C. Just over half of pet owners consider their pets “as much a part of their family as a human member.” See id. Despite the importance of pets in modern society, the law has lagged far behind. And Iowa is hardly alone in its “pets are just property” approach. West at pg. 7.  Judge Buller is spot on.  The attitudes toward pets has dramatically changed since the creation of the property value only damages for the negligent or intentional injury or death of pets.  Most pet owners will bristle upon learning that the law treats the loss of pets as comparable to the loss of a small appliance or a trashcan.

HF2438 recognizes the value of companion animals.  Let's be honest, though.  All pets are companion animals in the broader sense; we keep pets specifically for their companionship.  They are part of the family and their loss hurts more than human loss in many situations.

This law won't change unless the legislature changes it.  The people who bear the the damage from the death of a pet are not the people of Iowa, as criminalizing cruelty to companion animals implies.  The people who bear the loss of a pet are the pet's human family.  Far past the time to recognize the changing and prevailing social attitudes toward their four legged family members.

LATE NIGHT UPDATE: WNBA FACES NATIONAL BACKLASH

Wow, the wolf is at the WNBA's door.  Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, Chris Everett, Nancy Lieberman, Steven A. Smith, and virtually every voice in the world of athletics are trashing the WNBA and the Fever coaching and management over the now obvious and perverse desire to sabotage Caitlin Clark's career, and, quite literally and physically Caitlin herself.  Even Dan Dakich has flipped his coat and is now trashing his former allies in the Fever management.

Caitlin made it clear she was ready to play, and was even pulled back at the check in table. Sophie Cunningham apparently led a mutiny against the coaching staff.  The Fever franchise is collapsing in real time.  The moron GM, Amber Cox, is actually attacking Fever fans, probably not the best move from an attendance or audience perspective.

ESPN is standing in a corner.  Unsurprisingly, Stephanie White's wife works for ESPN and ABC.

The WNBA might not survive this scandal.  

WNBA DODGES DAN PATRICK - THOMAS ATTACKS ANOTHER FEVER PLAYER

The WNBA is obviously facing serious questions about its legitimacy as a professional athletic competition league.  Alyssa Thomas's brutal attack on Caitlin Clark has mainstreamed.  Thomas has previously inflicted serious injuries on opposing players.  Thomas picked up with more dirty play following her belated suspension and fine for attacking Caitlin Clark.  Video shows Thomas elbowing Lexie Hull in the nose.  Video shows Hull with a bloody nose and then Hull on the bench with toilet paper up her nose to stop the bleeding.  Video also shows Thomas and a teammate laughing immediately after the play.  Thomas is not merely a  thug but an irredeemable defiant thug.

The WNBA has faced mounting criticism of its tolerance for thuggish play and its officials inability, or unwillingness, to control thuggish play.  WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert agreed to appear on Dan Patrick's radio show and then pulled out at the last minute.  You can see Patrick's take on Engelbert's actions here.  The Owl thinks Engelbert's actions are cowardly and an admission the WNBA cannot answer hard questions about the WNBA's many problematic issues, chief among them is the tolerance for dangerous thuggish play.

OREGON REMOVES READING, WRITING & MATH FOR HS GRADUATION

So unbelievable I had to double check.  This bill has been justified as "help[ing] students of color. The lunatic left doesn't think "students of color" can or should be required to read, write and do math.  

The effect of this legislation dooms "students of color" to careers in manual labor or crime, which actually takes some math skills.  

This is idiocracy in real time.  It seems fair to ask Rob Sand and Josh Turek if they share Oregon's position.

BREAKING NEWS-PRESIDENT TRUMP FIRES ELECTION BOARD PROTECTING ILLEGAL VOTERS

President Trump just eliminated the entire Federal Election Assistance Commission.  The three commissioners refused President Trump's order to create a new federal voter registration forms that would require proof of citizenship as a condition of registration.

Opposition to this simple change could only be motivated by a desire to protect non-US citizens ability to vote in US elections.  The recent Slaughter decision enabled the presidents to fire bureaucrats that refuse to implement the policies the presidents are elected to enact.  Major win for democracy; major defeat for the Democrat/Communists and one of their election rigging weapons.

NAZI OUT DEMOCRAT APPARATUS STRIKES AGAIN

Graham Platner was the actual NAZI the Maine Democrats supported in his primary win.  Those voters knew Platner was a NAZI when they voted for Platner.

The good news is there will not be an actual NAZI in the United States Senate.  The bad news for democracy is the Democrat/Communist Party has again demonstrated that it is an oligarchy that disregards its own purported small d democratic processes.  Platner was the people's choice.  Platner became an electoral liability and the Dem/Com oligarchs acted.  Platner was forced out of his race in the same way, and probably by the very same individuals, that ousted the senile and demented Joe Biden.

The Dem/Com party has no interest in democracy.  Platner for all his many failings was the voter's choice.  The Dem/Com oligarchs purged Platner.  Why would any reasonable person ever listen to the Dem/Com's claim of protecting democracy?

When confronted with the reality that the Democrat/Communist Party nominated an actual NAZI for a US Senate seat in Maine how did Senator Warren respond?  With full throated enthusiasm, of course.  Does this remind anyone of the Hitler/Stalin alliance to dismember Poland in 1939?
